Silverton Oil Company has been a fixture in Briscoe County for more than 50 years. We opened in 1972 as a family business, and that’s exactly what we’ve stayed — a local, family-owned operation that knows its neighbors by name and takes pride in doing right by them.
We’re not a chain. We’re not a franchise. We’re your neighbors, and this community is our home. Over the decades, we’ve grown alongside Silverton — through good years and tough ones — because the people of Briscoe County trusted us, and we’ve never taken that lightly.
Our faith matters to us. We’re a Christian family business, and that shapes how we treat every customer who pulls into our lot on Highway 86 or calls to schedule a propane delivery. Honest pricing, straight talk, and genuine care for the people we serve — that’s not a policy. That’s how we were raised.
What We Offer
We’re a wholesale fuel distributor with gas and diesel locations in Silverton, Childress, Cee Vee, Flomot, Turkey, Quitaque, Vigo, and McLean. Credit cards are accepted at all locations. Whether you’re fueling a farm truck, a work rig, or just passing through, we’ve got you covered across the Panhandle.
Propane delivery is a big part of what we do. Whether you heat your home, run your equipment, or power your business on propane, we’ll bring it straight to your tank. We serve residential customers, ranches, farms, and commercial accounts throughout the region. If you’re not sure whether we can reach you, just call — we’ll figure it out.
We also carry a solid selection of BBQ supplies at our Silverton location — grilling pellets, rubs, and sauces. West Texas knows how to cook, and we’ve got what you need to do it right.
